The extremely close and ultra-competitive N-GT class was still open coming into the final round, but 2002 Champions Freisinger Motorsport did more than enough to retain their title, finishing second to put themselves out of reach of Team Maranello Concessionaires, while Stéphane Ortelli and Marc Lieb claimed the Drivers' Championship. "It was a very exciting race, and an exciting way to finish the Championship," Ortelli said. " This victory feels better than last year, first of all because I am not alone. Marc already helped me a lot last year, and I am very glad he is here with me today, he did a wonderful job all season. And I think it is better when you can share something like this. This is now our victory. And I am very pleased for our team, Freisinger Motorsport. To do this two times in a row is something really special." Marc Lieb was also delighted : "This is the biggest success of my career so far, and I want to thank the team, and Dunlop and especially Stéphane for his support. It's just wonderful."
